Welcome to Delran, NJ - located in Burlington County

Delran Township was incorporated in 1880 and it's name combination of the names of the two rivers that have their confluence here: the Delaware River and Rancocas Creek.

Delran is a small town measuring about 7 square miles.  Delran borders Moorestown & Cinnaminson and is close to Mt. Laurel, Cherry Hill & Medford.  From the last census done in 2000, there were just under 16,000 residents.  I'm sure that number has grown as Delran has seen a fair amount of new construction over the past several years. 

Rt. 130 is the main highway through Delran and is home to the new Hartford Corners Shopping Center and the revamped Millside Plaza.  With these two shopping centers and the new home construction, Delran has seen much growth over the past few years.  In fact, Chili's restaurant will be opening a location in Delran as construction in underway. 

Education
Delran Twp public schools run from kindergarten through twelfth grade.  In fact, Delran was awarded the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School Award.

• Delran Intermediate School (grades 3-5)
• Delran Middle School (grades 6-8)
• Delran High School (grades 9-12)
